Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use this website and when you hire Md Nazim Uddin for professional video editing services.
Last updated: September 2026
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order or using the website. They protect both you (the client) and me (the editor) by making expectations clear from the start.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or engaging Md Nazim Uddin ("the Editor") for video editing services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the services. These terms apply to all projects unless superseded by a signed agreement or written quote accepted by both parties.
2. The Services
The Editor provides freelance video editing services, including but not limited to: short-form video editing (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok), YouTube and long-form video editing, talking-head edits, documentary and real-estate edits, motion graphics, captions/subtitles, sound design and color correction. The exact scope of each project (deliverables, duration, format, deadline) is agreed before work begins.
3. Orders, Quotes & Payment
- Indicative package pricing is shown on the Pricing page; every project receives a custom quote based on footage length, complexity and deadline.
- Work begins after the brief, footage and any agreed advance payment are received.
- Payments are accepted in the currency stated on the quote (typically US$). Large projects may be split into milestones.
- Final deliverables are handed over after full payment is received.
4. Revisions & Turnaround
- Each package includes the number of revision rounds stated on the Pricing page (typically 1–3 rounds).
- Average turnaround is 24 hours for short-form work; complex or long-form projects are quoted separately.
- Additional revisions beyond the included rounds are billed at an agreed rate.
- Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee and must be agreed before ordering.
5. Client Responsibilities
You confirm that you own — or have full licensing rights to — all footage, music, images, logos and other materials you send for editing, and that the content is lawful and does not infringe any third-party rights. The Editor is not responsible for copyright issues arising from materials supplied by the client.
6. Intellectual Property
- Upon full payment, the final edited deliverables are licensed to you for your intended use (personal, commercial or client work as agreed).
- The Editor retains the right to display finished work in a portfolio (website, social media, showreel) unless you request otherwise in writing before delivery.
- Pre-existing tools, templates, presets, plugins and workflows used during editing remain the property of the Editor.
- Raw project files (e.g. Premiere Pro / After Effects timelines) are delivered only if separately agreed.
7. Portfolio & Testimonials
Client work samples, names and feedback shown on this website are displayed for portfolio purposes. If you are a client and would like your project removed from the public portfolio, contact me and it will be removed.
8. No Guarantee of Results
While every project is edited with attention to pacing, storytelling, retention and quality, no specific outcome (views, engagement, follower growth, monetization or revenue) can be guaranteed. Any figures shown on this website describe past work and individual experiences and are not a promise of future performance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Editor is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or the services. The Editor's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
10. Cancellation & Refunds
If a project is cancelled before editing begins, any advance is refunded minus payment-processing costs. Once editing has started, the advance covers time already worked and is non-refundable. Files already delivered remain licensed to you.
11. Acceptable Use of This Website
- Do not attempt to breach, scan or disrupt the website or its administration (including the /admin area).
- Do not copy, republish or redistribute the website's content, design, code or written materials without written permission.
- Automated scraping, spamming or abusive behavior is prohibited.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
13. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The current version is always published on this page with its revision date.
